Terms of Service

Last updated 27 July 2026.

1. Who we are

phdflow (the "Service") is operated by Finance Foresight AI Kamil Szczepanik, ul. Wojska Polskiego 114/116/4, 91-743 Łódź, Poland, NIP 7252336619. Contact: [email protected]. By creating an account or using the Service you accept these Terms.

2. The Service

phdflow provides AI-assisted tools: Judge (automated peer review of a paper), Explore (research-topic discovery) and Gap Alerts (monitoring of a topic). Outputs are generated by large language models. They are assistance only, are not a substitute for human peer review or professional advice, and we do not guarantee acceptance of any paper or the accuracy or completeness of any result.

3. Accounts

You must provide a valid email and keep your credentials secret. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to enter a contract in your jurisdiction.

4. Credits and payments

The Service is paid for with prepaid in-app credits. Credit prices and per-action costs are shown in the app and may change. Payments are handled by our payment provider; we never see or store your card details. Prices shown to consumers include VAT. Credits have no cash value and, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise, are non-refundable once an action has been run.

5. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

If you are a consumer in the EU you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason. Credits are digital content supplied immediately: when you buy them you are asked to give your express consent to immediate performance and to acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal for credits you have already spent. Unspent credits can be refunded within the 14-day period. To withdraw, email [email protected] with your account address and order date.

6. Complaints

Send complaints to [email protected]. We answer within 14 days. If we cannot agree, consumers in Poland may turn to the municipal or district consumer ombudsman (rzecznik konsumentów) or the Trade Inspection (Inspekcja Handlowa); consumers elsewhere in the EU may use the alternative dispute resolution body competent in their country. We are not obliged to participate in an ADR procedure and we decide case by case.

7. Your content and acceptable use

You keep all rights to papers, topics and text you submit. You confirm you have the right to upload them and will not submit content that infringes third-party rights or law. You may not misuse, overload, reverse-engineer or resell the Service.

8. Outputs

Reviews, scores and reports we generate for you are yours to use. Because they are AI-generated they may contain errors or omissions; verify anything important against primary sources.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions made in reliance on Service outputs. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including mandatory consumer rights).

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms.

11. Changes and governing law

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in-app or by email. These Terms are governed by Polish law and disputes are subject to the competent Polish courts. If you are a consumer in the EU, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence.
