Where should this paper go?

Paste a title and an abstract. We place the work in its research area, then rank the journals and conferences that actually publish there. Every number comes from OpenAlex.

Your text is sent to OpenAlex to be placed, and we keep no copy of it. Sign in to run this

How this is put together

Your text goes to OpenAlex's classifier, which places it in a research area. We then pull the venues publishing in that area, together with their citation rate, h-index, size, open access status and article charge, and rank them. We keep no copy of what you paste: the answer is cached under a one-way digest of it, never the text itself.

No number here is written by a language model. Every figure is fetched from OpenAlex, which publishes under CC0. Where a figure is missing we say it is missing rather than guess.

Citation reach is a percentile against the other venues in the same area, not an absolute score, because citation rates differ by an order of magnitude between fields and comparing across them produces nonsense.
